HHS (former Holland Hobby Sales) is active in The Netherlands for over 30 years serving fire, police and ambulance enthusiasts. ‘In the old days’ we also had a worldwide mailorder service for scale models. Nowadays we concentrate on the making of magazines and books as well import books from several countries. As we do not yet have a full English textsite we inform you on this page how to browse and how to order. If you have any questions, please send us an e-mail at: hhs@home.nl We will be happy to inform you in more detail about a book you may be interested in.

How to browse our site
On the homepage (beginpagina) of our site you can always immediately see when it was updated.
These are the different sections you can take a look at:

TIJDSCHRIFT:
‘one-one-two’ (Eén-Eén-Twee) is the fire magazine we make for the Dutch association of anyone who is interested in the fire service as work, volunteer or hobby. You can take a look at the 48 page full-colour magazine through a pdf-file. You need Acrobat Reader to do so; if you do not have this you can download it free from the internet. To subscribe to the magazine (6 issues per year) costs 26,50 euro in Europe and 54,00 euro elsewhere. You can also subscribe to a PDF-version of Eén-Eén-Twee at 21,50 euro per year.

BRANDWEERBOEKEN:
Firebooks. You will find the newest books first. Scrolling down brings the older books. Books in Dutch language are marked in red. 

MODELLEN:
Sometimes we have some older or new models on offer as well.

NIEUW:
The latest books that have been put on our site are highlighted here. These books are also in the seperate booksections.

ANTIQUARIAAT:
This is a section dealing with secondhand books and stockclearance of shops and publishers as well as single copies still available of older books. It will be updated regulary.

Books on Dutch fireservices some of which are not featured in the regular list. 

How to order and pay

You can order by e-mail: hhs@home.nl After receipt of your mail we will inform you which books are available and the total price. Books are shipped after receipt of your payment.
We accept payments through PayPal and creditcard (Visa and Mastercard). However, we are not allowed to accept your creditcarddetails by e-mail. They should be faxed: 00.31.84.7465236 or send by mail:

Shipping rates are:
To European countries:
On request (if still as letterpost at max. 38x26.5x3.2 cm 7 euro up to 2 kilo; parcelpost up to 2 kilo costs 12,75 euro, 2-5 kilo 18,95 euro, 5-10 kilo 24,75 euro, 10-20 kilo 33,25 euro).

To rest of the world:
On request (if still as letterpost at max. 38x26.5x3.2 cm 18,82 euro up to 2 kilo; parcelpost up to 2 kilo costs depending from the country it has to be send to: 17,75-22,95  euro, 2-5 kilo 23,75-32,45 euro, 5-10 kilo 29,75-54,45 euro, 10-20 kilo 32,95-99,95 euro).
For ‘lightweight’ shipments as special magazine-issues and small books we will charge a lower rate.
Shipment is by standard mail or (for parcels above 2 kilos priority).
